Yen P. Chau
Ms. Chau represents and counsels employees and employers in all aspects of employment and labor law, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and disability accommodation issues. Her practice also includes appellate advocacy and the defense of contested claims in arbitration proceedings, mediation processes, and administrative hearings. She also regularly counsels employers regarding workplace practices. She is the 2017 president of the Contra Costa County Bar Association’s Employment Section.

Christopher Mead
Mr. Mead has practiced law for more than 30 years in the area of employment counseling and litigation, exclusively on the management side. He chairs the Labor and Employment Practice1 Group at Cooper, White & Cooper LLP. He has represented employers in litigation in state and federal courts, and in individual and class action lawsuits. He has litigated race, gender, and national origin discrimination, wrongful discharge, wage and hour violations, access and accommodation, equal pay, trade secret and misappropriation, sexual harassment, and retaliation matters. His counseling experience includes wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, disability accommodation, discipline, leaves, termination, and pre-termination matters.
